Mr.Hueter,Abraham LaRue/Lerue was my gggggrandfather, b. 1702 in Steinwiller,Palatine/Germany.He died in York, Pa. 1757. He married Anna Weidenbach dau. of
Heinrich and Anna Margaretha Weidenbach. Anna died 18 mar. 1764 York, Pa. Their children were:Anna Maria,Francis,George,Catharina,
Abraham,Michael,and Jacob. George and Francis
moved to Knoxville, Tn. in the late 1790's.I have always suspected that the LaRue's and Weidenbach's may have left germany at the same time . Do you have any info on this or any other info on the LaRue/Weidenbach connection. The LaRue's were refugee's from the catholics in france and lived many years in Steinwiller,Germany before coming to america. We always wondered where our line of LaRue's got their fair skin,Blue eye,and blond curly hair and we believe it is through the Weidenbach's. All info deeply Appreciated.
