I have been to Neuhausen and found the church records(Mr. Flad was custodian), which go back to late 1500s. I have been able to trace my Weiblen roots (through my mothers family) back 10 generations. I'm sure you can do the same. The LDS or FHC files are incomplete and do not list all the Weiblen's from Neuhausen.
The Weiblen's may have originally come from Urach, a small town located south of Neuhausen. The Weiblen's were one of the 10-12 founding families in the area. There were
many intermarriages with the Harter's Flad's, Reusches, Stiefel's etc. The original church no longer exists, but the church bell tower is still standing. I'll look to see if I have Mr. Flad's or the churches address. I'm sure they can help you locate your family roots. By the way, I'm sure we are all somehow related. Regards, Don
