Hi,
Our Thanksgiving holiday is over and all the family has returned to their homes. We had great fun!
I have writen to John Veit Weiblen's great-grandson giving him the information I found on your web-site and asking for his input. I have data on the daughter [only child] of John's second marriage, her children and the family of her oldest child, my grandmother. I don't believe anyone in the family stayed in contact with the two boys from John's first marriage who came to the US with him. The family records have two possible names for John's wife; Barbara Ann or Anna M. From your web-site it looks as though Barbara Ann might have been the first wife and that she immigrated to Switzerland with him. I wonder what type of records the Swiss have. The second wife was known as 'Annie' so might have been Anna M.
Do you know what the name "Weiblen" might mean?
Rosemary
