Hi again,
my research about the emigrants from Neuhausen an der Erms is just a part of general research about the history of my home village which I've been doing (with long breaks) for over 20 years. So I'm not doing family research for money, and I do not live in Neuhausen anymore. Actually, I compiled the list of emigrants for a book which was published 10 years ago, but you will find all the updates on my homepage.
I think that all the families named Weiblen originated in Neuhausen, and to prove this I left some messages in that board. There is some uncertainty about it becaus some people on the Internet stated that their ancestors emigrated from Switzerland (which has nothing to do with our Johann Veit Weiblen). But some day I have to check whether more people left Neuhausen for Switzerland, perhaps as early as the 18th century.
I think that people from Switzerland like those from Germany went to Holland and took a ship at Rotterdam or Antwerp to reach America. But this is a part of the story where I am no expert, really.
