Hi! My husband is related to the Weiand family from Steuben & Livingston Co., N. Y. William A. Weiand's parents are Jacob Weiand b- 1833 d-Nov 16, 1898 buried @ Old St. Pius Cem., Cohocton, N. Y. He married Elizabeth Vogt b-Jan 19, 1842 Wayland d-Aug 3, 1917 They had 14 children. William A. Weiand was the last born on March 18, 1886 & died May 16, 1979, married April 09, 1907 in Sacred Heart Church, Perkinsville, N.Y. to Anna Barbara Yochum b-Dec 2, 1888 d-1960 & they are buried @ Old St. Pius Cemetery, Cohocton, N. Y. up on the hill in Cohocton. I have that they had four children not three.
1)Dorothy Mary Weiand b-March 29, 1908 bpt- Apr 28, 1908 @ St. Pius V Church, Cohocton Godparents: Jacob & Mary Kuhn She married man with last name Haynes.
2)Anna Weiand b- Nov 7, 1914 d- March 7, 1915 @ 4 months buried @ Old St. Pius Cemetery
3) Margaret Weiand- b- February 19, 1915 ? date, died-Oct 4, 1997 Rochester, N. Y- married Hubert Leake
4) William N. Weiand b- June 26, 1921 d- March 6, 1978 married Anna J. Wolfanger b- 1921 They are buried @ Sacred Heart Cemetery, Perkinsville, N.Y.
