Looking for information for Karl Gottlieb Wegner, born 3 Apr 1834 in Tretenwalde who married Auguste Maria Juliane Zielke Wegner, born 9 July 1943 in Friedrichshuld. They had numerous children:
Emma
Augusta Fredericka, born 19 Apr 1864, who immigrated to Berrien County Michigan (my ggrandmother)
Johanna
Martha, who immigrated to Berrien County as well in 1894
Louise
Wilhelm
Karl
Richard and
Louis
I'm searching for the parents of Karl Gottlieb and Augusta Maria, what happened to the rest of the children in Germany, and, possibly, the father of Augusta Fredericka's 3 children, 2 of whom were born in Saaben. They were named Mary and Emma; Augusta was pregnant with William when she immigrated.
Any ideas, pointers, assistance, information, who to write to, etc., would be really terrific. Thank you.
