There is a Charles Wegener buried in Winona, Wisconsin in the non Catholic cemetary. He died at the age of about 65 years. Emma Wegener bought the cemetary site and my sister and I viewed the gravesite. We thought that this might be a brother to our grandfatheer Byron Wegener since he had a sister named Emma, and a sister named Winona (after the town). We went there because our Aunt Thelma had told us that her grandparents were buried there. We did not find them, but told her we found her uncle. She calmly stated I do not remember any Uncle with the name of Charles. My grandmother and grandfather had also named one of their children Charles who died at about age two, soe we naturally thought the Charlen buried in Winona was an uncle and our deceased uncle had been named after him. That is what we know about Charles. From Charlene Wegener, e-mail
