This is GREAT - Weemans at last.
I come from Valentine by way of Joseph b. abt 1750 (If anyone has a more precise date it would be appreciated) d 1829.Settled in Royalsburg, now called Durham ME, on lot 102 before 1782.Joseph enlisted in 1776 in Cape Elizabeth, ME.In 1829 he crossed a bridge with a loaded team, the bridge gave way, he was killed. (That from the family Bible.) Married Mary Richards 4-10-1774.I have only one child listed to them - a son, Jessie; b 8-20-1785 d. 6-8-1855.He married Tyla Pope had 9 children. They lived in Freeport ME. I am descended from Luther Warren Weeman; 1826-1879.I'm very interested in knowing the dates for the distant cousins.
One question I have a fourth child for Valentine, Elizabeth born abt 1745.Unfortunately I forgot to note the source.
