If the Perquimans line showed up in the 1670/80 time frame, we may have come down with the Quakers that left the MA area when the Whites (also appearing in SC) and Symons (Simmons, Simons, Symonds)Morris lines appeared. Whether they first went from Dorchester, MA to Dorchester, SC, then up to Perquimans needs to be proven, but Charleston was the main shipping hub for that area for supplies coming from the North, and Europe.
