Hi Allene....I went looking for some info on your George W. and found the following...but...not sure if it is part of your ancestry. I have a lot more to check out, but thought I'd let you know what may be involved.
A Paul Weeks married a Rebecca, and their first child was named Thankful born in 1798. Their 2nd child was named
GEORGE W. and he was born 1800. This happened in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
Paul was a Boat Captain and was lost at sea. Have no other info....perhaps..yet.
Another George Washington Weeks was born in Yorkshire, New York, November 10, 1823 and married June 1841, Minerva Bailey born in 1822 and died 1867. He remarried in 1868, Julietta Mowon (forgot my spelling of her last name.
A third George Washington Weeks was born in Bethany, Genesee, New York September 28, 1819, and married Susan Brayley of Devonshire, England.
I will be searching further and really have my fingers crossed. There were several other Gearge W's but their information could not be even considered with what you thought.
Walter has been working hard and doing some great stuff.
