Good Morning! I wish i was more capable of this research. I just kinda puddle along and when I find Something it's most likely an accident. I feel like I could cry. As soon as I read the last part of your letter, I understood. Well that's a real stinker. I was all excited to be the first in my grandfather's line to be marked. This is a brick wall most definently. I went to a weeks reunion in Maine about 15 years ago but I don't think I could reach them. I'll ask my mom when she gets up about any addresses that she might have.
Is there anyway I can get my DNA in the system? I want to so bad. It would be the best, dude! Do they do female? Would I be able to compare to gramps?
I did the DNA for LDS. I've gone there but have no idea what I'm looking at/for. Maybe I'll go back later today and take a second lookj to try and understand. It's been a couple years.
I've "puddled" through and found alot on Weeks/England that I thought was a match and then the BrickHouse site just came out on their website and completely demolished my tree by saying that it wasn't actually known who his parents were, etc. Not happy with them at this time, lol. What do you make out of their new research findings? Does it mess with your line as you know it?
Elinor Haines is who I have for his wife. I can type all what I have in my line (if you want it) but it will take me a bit but I don't mind or you could check out my ancestory tree. Do I have to invite you or can you just go?
You got the lineage correct unfortunately. Maybe my next move would be to go the the BrickHouse reunion and find a willing swabber with the last name Weeks. What do you think about that as my next step? I would what him to be as closely related to me as possible, wouldn't I? A Close-as-possible cousin or would it really make a difference?
