In the book "Colonial Families of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Vol. 1" by Robert R. Barnes & F. Edward Wright, is the following: "The Wickes Family - Melchi Mellchisadeck, son of John, was mentioned in the will of Henry Kenett of KE (Kent) Co., written 18 Sep 1687 and proved 10 Jan 1687, in which he devised his entire estate for a term of 14 years to Melchi Mellchisadeck, son of John Weeks."

I do not see that anyone is looking for this man, so I thought I would enter this.
