I am helping an archeologist who is excavating Fort Mims prepare a documented list of the participants of Fort Mims on Aug. 30, 1813. Was Joseph Mims a survivor? If so, we don't have him listed. Also there is a question as to whether George Weekley might have died there. One of his slaves did, for sure. Any help will be appreciated since we want our work to be accurate. The report is being prepared for the Alabama Historical Commission.
