Hi!
I am looking for Weeks,Weekes,Wyck. I have gone back to George Weekes b 1596 in Devonshire, Eng. He m Jane Clapp - dau of William Clapp - about 1627. There is a story that she is descended form Osgood/Asgood Clapp - a noble in or ambassador to the court of King Canute - may be spelled Knut. I haven't found any proof of that.
My Weeks line is in Massachusetts,USA and last one I have is Sarah b 1766 in Goshen,Mass and m Cyrus Stearns. She is one of my ggg (or such) grandmothers. I hope to find more info and will exchange such.
