Sherri- I saw your posting this afternoon after spending the morning at Atlanta-Fulton County Library. I too descend from David and Sarah Weedon Dishman of King George Co. I guess we're cousins. My line continues on from David and Sarah through their son David, Jr. and Ruthe Clark and through their daughter Catherine Dishman who married Reuben Owens. I was wondering if Sarah Weedon was related to Brig Gen George Weedon. I just found him this am at library. It would be nice to have a general in the family after the 2 privates (my great- grandfather and great uncle) who spent the Civil War in Chimbarazo Hospital with dysentery!!
