Yes, the Wedgeworths and the Logans were connected through marriage. The Logans and the Wedgeworths both had lived in Abbeville, South Carolina before moving to Greene Co.,AL in the 1820's. A part of Greene County (now Hale Co.) was named Logan's Bluff. There is a book "The Logans of Old 96 and their descendants" by Lida E. Logan and Richard K. Logan which gives a detailed history of the Logans from Abbeville,SC and Greene Co.,AL. Maybe you can find a copy somehow - I do not have one. Contact Lloyd Logan, 28 Hedgestone Way, Mobile, AL 36608 to ask about purchasing a copy.

Sarah Ann Elizabeth Wedgeworth, daughter of Larkin Wedgeworth & Sarah Jane Clark, married Dudley R. Logan in Greene Co.,AL. The couple had some eleven children and moved to Mt. Pleasant, Texas around 1880. Sarah Ann was born 1846 in Greene Co.,AL and died 1923 in McCurtain Co.,OK. Hope this helps. Contact me off-line if you want what little I do have on Sarah & Dudley.
