I am a descendant of William and Statira Gaines Wedgeworth. I am very interested in the Bible Records that you referred to in your post. This is the first time I have seen William referred to as William Blaglove Wedgeworth. All of my records show his name as William B. Wedgeworth. I am happy to know what the B. stands for. I am also happy to see that your Bible show that James Wedgeworth, Jr. was b. 1792. This seems to disprove the theory that James Jr. was the son of Thomas and Elinor Boyce, and nephew of William Wedgeworth. He could not be Elinor's son if he was born in 1792, as she died before 1790. Also, according to all of the Census records that I have seen, James Jr. was born after 1790. The 1800 Census for SC shows that James, Sr. had two sons under 10 years old. This would have had to have been James Jr. and William. James Sr.'s other sons were born after 1800. I would love to have a copy of your Bible records if that would be possible.
