Jump to message #3. That is a good start. Also, ask Grand-Dad about a letter he has regarding the family tree. You might want to try to find records over in Niagara Falls, Ont. regarding your great-grandfather Harvey. I think if we could get his father's name it might help. Grand-Dad told me that his father (Harvey) saw his father on a train platform once but wouldn't speak to him or even acknowledge him. I guess that might begin to explain why we know so little of this side of the family.
I had posted a message years ago looking for info on Harvey (my grandfather, your great-grandfather) but no one ever answered. I think our line might be the termed the "forgotten Wedges." I will see what I can find out about Wedges in Knolton Twp. in NJ.
