Sorry about the very late reply!

I know my line back to Thomas Wedge, born in
England ~1640, who came to America and married
Deborah Stevens. I come from the Wedges that were early settlers in Wisconsin (Wedge's Prarie/Waupun) and
Minnesota (Albert Lea). My parents were born in
Albert Lea, and moved to California ~1956.

I am Scott William Wedge (b. 1961), son of
Ralph William Wedge (b. 1938), son of
Ralph Franklin Wedge (b. 1894), son of
Clarence Wedge (b. ~1855), son of
Lucious Precious Wedge (b. 1823), son of
Salmon (Samuel) Wedge (b. 1773), son of
Asahel Wedge (b. 1745/46), son of
John Wedge (b. 1715/16), son of
Isaac Wedge (b. 1672), son of
Thomas Wedge (b. ~1640), son of
Thomas Wedge (b. ???)

My parents don't recall any particular
family reason for my first name, although,
by strange coincidence, my wife's name is Lydia!
