Maude Bell Weddle, 102, Bristol, TN, was called home by
her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 14, 2010, after a
brief illness.
She was born on March 12, 1908, in Russell Co VA, a
daughter of the late John and Ally Holt. She was the last
surviving member of her immediate family and had been a
resident of Bristol since 1952.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her loving husband, Dewitt Weddle; and her precious son,
Dallas.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Linda Weddle of
Villa Rica, GA, Jerry Weddle, Donna Weddle, and Tina Young,
all of Toledo, OH; three great-grandchildren, Sarah and
Sam Tickles of Villa Rica, GA, and Ronnie Young of Toledo,
OH; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1:30 p.m. -
2 p.m., prior to the service.
A funeral service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery,
in Bristol VA, on Sunday, April 18, 2010, at 2 p.m., with
Pastor Jack Stevens officiating.
