NOTE: For those new to computers:

To COPY something on the internet or in a mail message (most computers): Go to the page you wish,

put the mouse's arrow on the page and "left click" / press the top left side of the mouse,

push down the CTRL button (lower left corner) and immediately press the A lettered button,

next push down the CTRL button again and immediately press the C lettered button.
(The lettering on the page you wish to be copied should be highlighted or changed somehow.)

Doing this holds a "picture" of what you want in the computer.)

Next, in whatever Mail program you are using, open a "NEW" mail message.

An empty mail message should appear.

Put the mouse's arrow on the big blank white part of the message (where you write your letter) and

left click the mouse.

Press CTRL and the V lettered button. What you wanted should now appear in your new mail message.

Press CTRL and the S lettered button to Save your information.

If this doesn't work the first time then try it again.

For your information: the CTRL button says, "Hey PC, I want you to do something."

The other buttons tell the computer what to do:

A = Highlight All (the information you wish); C = Copy and hold a picture of it in the PC;

V = place it here Viola or Victory; and, S = Save this information and don't let it disappear!

The Mail program will save it in the Draft file on the left hand side of your Mail program's screen.

Click Drafts, place the arrow on the message you just made. Go to the top left of your screen.

It will say File , Click File, below it will be a list of things like New and Open. Click Open.

There will be a line on the left side, it says Subject. Click the blank space to the right of

Subject. You can now type in whatever you want the name of the file to be.

If you want to send it someone then click the top like To and put their email address into it.

Don't forget to put the @ in the email address. It is just above the number 2 on your keyboard.

Click Send in the upper left hand corner and the information should have gone to the

person you wished. Once it has gone a copy of it will be in the Send folder on the left side.

You can always click the Send folder and make a copy of the information the same way
(above) you made the first copy. CTRL A, CTRL C, in new mail message CTRL V and CTRL S.

LEGEND ( KEY ) for the abbreviations:

B = Birth, M = Marriage, D = Death and BUR = Burial

THE BLANK SPACES OR LINES BETWEEN THE ABBREVIATIONS ARE FOR THE

PLACE (TOWN or TOWNSHIP, COUNTY, STATE, COUNTRY) WHERE THE EVENT OCCURRED.
