Joyce, I'm afraid my interest lies in the original Webbers of Kennebec, the colonialists. I don't think there are many other countries where you can actually go back to the foundings and find your original ancestors...I believe most ot the original Webbers found a living in serving the King of England as sailors or soldiers...Once exposed to this great country they must have told every Webber in England of the opportunities in the New World..most of the Webbers who stayed here adopted the lifestyles of the area they adopted as fisherman, boatbuilders or farmers...
