Ephraim's father was Lewis Webber as it says in the subject line. There are several Josephs, so I am not sure which one in particular(and of which generation) you are referring to. The father of Lewis is Joseph Webber b.abt 1727 who married Sarah Sedgeley.

But, Lewis had a brother named Joseph as well b. abt 1754 and this Joseph married Lucianna Carswell or Caswell as the case may be. These two are the parents of Wealthy b. 1808

*Lucianna's name has also been put forward as Sussanah...the old handwriting for L's and S's could frequently look the same..
