2 Middle Tennessee Benjamin Webbers, b. @1789-1793?

I sure hope someone on the message board can set me straight...(grin)!

I find 2 Benjamin Webbers, both from VA, both born in the 1790's (apparently between 1789 and 1793), and both apparently lived in middle TN, and whom I cannot figure out.

Other researchers more directly connected to this Webber family have what seem to me to be conflicting claims, as both seem to claim Seth Ward Webber (Rev. War veteran) as this Benjamin Webber's dad.

Census records have certainly not helped sort this one out.

Benjamin "W." Webber who married first Jane Morely/Mosely, then Elizabeth Wilkerson was among those who moved (from middle Tennessee?) to Jefferson Co., IL in the late 1820's or early 1830's, and is enumerated on the census records there from then on.

Then I also find Benjamin Webber, married to Rebecca Sursa (Searcy) and also claimed as the son of Seth Ward Webber, enumerated in the middle Tennessee census records for these same decades.

This second one is the Benjamin about whom I specifically want to know more.

Again, I have seen both of these Benjamins claimed as a son of Rev. War veteran, Seth Ward Webber.

Help?

Thanks,
Greg Keeling
