I'm sorry, I don't really know, there are so many different theories on the Web.
I do know there is a huge, very official looking book on this family at the library in Rockingham, N.C.
I have never really looked into it since I know from DNA results these are not my Webbs.
I posted that because someone showed on this board posted that the Boone marrying Mary Webb was James and that he had 13 wives, some of whom were born after he died! <g>
If you want to e-mail me at my address, which I don't mind people knowing, I will look at the DNA group in which they are and tell you what others say, but it is still only theory.
