I've just started researching my father's lineage (BULLARD) and have hit an impasse....
According to LDS database, my GGGgrandfather (Benjamin Bullard) married "Elmore Weaver" in Greece, Monroe, New York in 1829.
She was supposedly born there 20 October 1808 - though the town of Greece was not called Greece until 1822. From 1802 to 1810 it was the Town of Northampton. The town of Parma (now Hilton) broke off from Northampton in 1808, so it is possible she was really born in Parma. From 1810-1822 it was part of Gates. Prior to 1821 there was also no Monroe County - when it was created from part of Genesee and Ontario Counties.
I'm trying to find out more about her (I think Elnore is the more likely spelling , or Eleanor, but I don't find any records of Eleanor with that birthdate).
Does anyone know anything about her, or more specifically, her husband or his family? I know that she had at least one child Benjamin M. Bullard - b. 1841 in Greece, NY. He moved to northern Illinois prior to 1870.
Any information would be a great help.
