Dawn:

I think your confused, The charity Brott that married Clement Studebaker was Clement S. Weatherwax AUNT, Charity and his mother were sister's,We believe Charity Studebaker
died in childbirth, and possible that Clement S Weatherwax was named after his aunt husband, Charity father was Jacob Bratt/Brott and their mother was Charity Francisco. Jacob Brott was my gggrandfather brother, my gggradfather was Charles Bratt/Brott, I not sure when the last name changed it spelling, but happen after the 1820 or 1830 census after that it was spelled Brott, My ancestor was married three times, had fourteen/fifteen children eight with his first wife Lydia\lucy Runnels, Abigal Blunt\Brooks they had four, then a widower Matilda ingalls\Ellis had three more. So welcome to the family.
