My direct line is Ulysses A.D. Weathersby and Rachel Saul, their daughter Mary Ann and Benjamin Logan Weast, their daughter Roetta Weast and Benjamin Walker, then my grandfather Logan Walker. I'm still trying to figure out the children of Ulysess Weathersby. Here is the census record and Weast cousin sent me. 1860 Census of Williamson County, Texas: house 561/family 572 name age sex occup born U. S. Weatherbsy 29 M carpenter MS Rachel 29 f TX Mary A. 14 f TX John L. 12 m TX Clarisia 6 f TX Lousia 4 f TX Willis W. 1 m TX Is the Willis W listed here your William Walter? I always sort of thought that Willis W, was Ulysses, jr., Willis being a nickname for Ulysses, and the W. being a mistake. If Willis is William, then who is the mother to U.A.D. , jr. ? I have some information in my data base, that I can't find the source for. I have that U. A. D. was born 2/10/1824 in Amite, Mississippi, and that he died 7/5/1897 in the Confederates Home in Austin, Texas. If you are interested in the Saul information, I can e-mail it, or mail it to you either way. Some of it comes from an book on Williamson County, Texas and other parts of it come from other Saul researchers. Brandy Notify Administrator about this message?
