I may have some interesting info for you. I'm not any relation to the Wetherbys.
My daughter collects old Bibles, while she was living in California, she bought an old Bible dating back to 1873. It is a family Weathersby Bible.
Today we were looking on the ancestry.com and found the proper owners. But can not reach them because their E-mail address has changed.
Two of the names in the Bible are Clayton Weathersby,born in 1865 and Floyd Weathersby born 1877. Many more.
I don't know if this is your family or not. They came from Mississippi.
