I, too, have a picture of my wife and I standing under the city limits sign of Weathersby, Mississippi. It was taken in the late 60s. It was between Mendenhall and McGee on the road from Mobile to Jackson, if I remember correctly (but don't put any money on that!). I was told many years later by Cassius Weathersby, an African/American Weathersby and Hollywood producer), that he was decended from slaves on a plantation called 'Weathersby' in that part of Mississippi and I got the impression that the name was deleted due to political incorrectness. If that is true, I would be very curious to know which Weathersby owned that plantation.
