I have a copy of Cade's will, I'll list the children he named in this will: daughter, Mary Hollingsworth. Second, daughter, Mary Sikes. Third, daughter, Lucy McLean. Fourth, daughter, Elizabeth Weathersbee. Fifth, son, Absolom Weathersbee. He gave his plantation on Little Turnbull and 600 acres to Absolom.
Six, daughter, Olive Weathersbee. Seventh, daughter, Jane Weathersbee. Eighth, son, Isom Weathersbee. He gave him 100 acres lying on the Big Swamp in Bladen Co.. Ninth, son, Owen Weathersbee. He gave him 150 acres of land on Rough House Swamp in Bladen Co. In the next paragraph he names his 7 younget children as follows: Shadrick, Elizabeth, Absolom, Jane, Isom, Olive and Owen Weathersbee.
Its pecular he didn't name Shadrick before this paragraph because he states he is his beloved son and along with Mitchall Thomas is one of the executors of this will.
The witnesses were Dennis Averit & William Grice.
I also have two whole pages about Isom Weathersby, born 3-12-1780 in Bladen Co., N.C. the eighth child of Cade Weathersbee. It states he lost his mother before he was 10 and his father when he was 13. He married Sarah Thomas when he was 17 and A Half.
