Am trying to connect the Weathersby-Bush-Dear families in SC and MS.

I am in possession of a copy of a tripartate marriage agreement between (1)Lewis Weathersby, (2)Jane Bush, widow of Thomas Bush, and (3)Edward and William Bush dated 1832 Barnwell Dist, SC.

I have a copy of a letter written "Dear Children" and signed Lewis and Jane Weathersby dated 1861, Barnwell Dist, SC.

I also have copies of letters referencing this marriage agreement addressed to "Sister" and signed Eliza (Elizer) Philpot dated 1862 and 1863 from Barnwell dist, SC. In these letters Eliza mentions brothers Johnson and Anderson and Jefferson (Weatherby?).

These papers were found in the trunk of Mary Ann Dear Long, d/o John Isaac Dear and Sarah B. (Bush?) Dear. John Isaac Dear is the s/o Hardy Dear, Barnwell Dist, SC and ? (possibly Sarah Weathersby?)

Any help in sorting out these folks would be appreciated.
