I tend to think Nathaniel Weathers was someone living in Pike County, GA whom Margaret Elliott (daughter of Benjamin and Margaret) met and married after the Elliott's moved from Lincoln County. Benjamin's wife Margaret died JAN 1820, probably in Lincoln County, fours years after the birth of her youngest child. Benjamin moved west to Pike County afterward, as he is included in the 1830 Census in Pike County.

I'm the 6th great grandson of Samuel Withers (my opinion is "Withers" is the accurate spelling, not "Weathers"). His daughter Margaret married Benjamin Elliott of whom I directly descend. MARGARET ELLIOTT (BENJAMIN and MARGARET'S DAUGHTER) was born 05 December 1810 in Georgia (Source: 1860 Census Record, pg 119, Pike County, Georgia.), and died 22 November 1878 in Pike County, Georgia. She married NATHANIEL WEATHERS 21 November 1841 in Pike County, Georgia (Source: US Marriage Index 1691-1850 (Heritage Quest), "CD-ROM."). NATHANIEL was born Abt. 1820 in Georgia (Source: 1860 Census Record, pg 119, Pike County, Georgia.), and died Aft. 1880.
