Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Sometimes negative information is as valuable as positive information, because at least you can eliminate possibilities. Glad I could help with that! That said, if you do find a connection between your Weatherleys and mine, I would love to hear about it. My Samuel was the son of Joseph Weatherly, b. ca. 1760 in London, and Elizabeth Luke; Joseph was the son of Charles Weatherley and Mary Crabb; Charles was possibly the son of a Thomas Weatherley, but that is not proved at all as yet. All I know is they seem to have lived in the City of London area, and Joseph b. 1760 was a goldsmith and left a very large estate. Charles, his father, died as a 'Gentleman' but was a cheesemonger by trade. If you would be interested in more info on this family, please feel free to privately email me at dorian[at]goldtel[dot]net.
