Dear Sharlene,
Thank you for posting the biography of George Henry Weatherhead. The only comment I have is that he was mayor of Brockville in 1886, not 1866. This is probably a typo. I was visited last June (2001) by three of his descendants from Virginia and California and I will send a copy of your note on to them.
I have in contact with Mary Flikke Weatherhead and she and her husband have set up a web-site with details of James Weatherhead's descendants (incomplete however I have another lead on them). The web-site is http.www.flikke.netfirms.com. It is in a web format and the birth dates of living people are incomplete to prevent identity theft. Mary's e-mail is flikkem@yahoo.com.
