The Weatherford book about Red Eagle by Lynn Hastie Thompson 1991 has detailed information about Eugenia's parentage. She was 8th of 11 children of Sidney Clay Weatherford b. 1864 and Aphenie Eliza Shipp b. 1873. Both are buried Weatherford Cemetery in Mineola, Monroe Co., AL. Sidney descends from Red Eagle !
