Mary M Wear b1855 daughter of Samuel Wear

I just found in the 1880 census a Samuel Wear that was living with his daughter and husband in Texas. I was searching this line because of a maiden name of my gggrmother listed on the deathe certificate of my ggrandfather Robert Eugene Payne. His mother was Mary Wear from Tennessee. The census states a Fatherinlaw Samuel Wear born in Tennessee about 1823 was living with them. It also states that his parents were born in Pennsylvania. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
