I am a Weir/Ware in Arkansas. My gggg-grandfather James E. Weir was the son of "Mr. H" & Jane Waire-Weir. I have information from the 1880 Goodspeed, James was born in Western TN and move to Ar in the 1850's. My ggg-grandfather William H.(There is that mysterious H again)Weir was born in TN along with 5 sisters and 1 brother. their mother Kissiah died and James married Mrs. Elizabeth pettigrew-Low after he moved to AR around 1859 from the MAdison Co.-Jackson, Tennessee areas. I would love to connect them further. James was Mr. H's 7th son per Goodspeed. I know Jane came to Ar and died here about 1869. She is burried in the Weir family Cemetery (Land James gave to the community for a cemetery) Mc Rae, White County, Arkansas. Some of the oldest graves in White Co. are recorded here. I would love to share my life with you. I do know Hugh and Hamilton are names the older cousins have said, but there is no conformation to the "H". Please help if you can or I would love to get intouch with Joanne Wear Spore. Mary Beth Weir-Waters....Thanks ! mbwaters76@yahoo.com
