I just read you post a bit more carefully.
Ephriam J. Wean (son of Isaac) known as "Big Eph" lived just north of Cootes Store, Brocks Gap, Rockingham County, Virginia, served in Co.B, 7th Virginia Cavalry and was seriously wounded at the Battle of Reams Station in 1864. He returned home and died of his wounds.
His nephew of the same name (son of Christian) was wounded at the same battle, returned home and also died as a result of his wounds.
I also have Compiled Service Records for other Wean brothers who served in the Confederate Cavalry.
The Weans, just as the Ritchie's came to Brocks Gap from Lovettsville, Loudoun County, Virginia where they attended the New Jeruselum Lutheran Church.
Steve Ritchie
