I'm afraid I know nothing about her, but I am descended from who may be her grandparents, Robert Weakley and Elizabeth Barr. I am related to them through their son James, not William as you are.

I have recently begun research in earnest on the Weakley line, and have discovered there is a monument and still-standing buildings to/of Robert's parents, our patriarchs, James and Jane Weakley, near Carlisle, PA. Robert inherited and operated the fulling mill for some time, one of three mills James began. (One of these mills is still in operation and apparently in danger of being demolished.)

Aside from this info, and knowledge that Robert served in the Revolution, I know next to nothing about him, and am eager to learn more. Your posting was the first mentioning his wife being Elizabeth Barr, a name I have from my own family info. Do you have any more info on Elizabeth Barr or Robert? All I know of her is that she's apparently Scotch/Irish.
