I came across these postings when I googled the name Wayrynen. I am not sure if anyone is still checking them but I thought I'd add my bit anyway. My mother's maiden name is Wayrynen. Her parents were Einard Wayrynen and Helen Wayrynen (Tehtinen) of Pelkie, MI. I have an uncle named Tom Wayrynen, and he and his wife Sue have two children - Kaisa and Andrew Wayrynen. Andrew was named after our great-grandfather, also of Pelkie. Given the fact that there aren't very many Wayrynens around, I would have to imagine there is some relation there. I know that my grandfather made frequent trips to Oregon when he was a young man to see relatives, and I saw that some of the people mentioned in these postings were living in Oregon. If any of you want to e-mail me at garystreeting@hotmail.com , I can check with my grandmother to see if she can help put together any of the pieces of the puzzle. Unfortunately my grandfather is dead.
