Would you happen to have any additional information on Ephraim? I have recently learned that I have an Ephraim Wayman/Wainman as my oldest known ancestor. This information came from a marriage license of his son Levi to his second wife. It lists his parents as Ephraim and Susanna Whyten/Wheaten Wainman. Ephraim is found in the 1840 and 1850 Indiana censuses as Wayman. His marriage license to Susanna was indexed as Wayuman. I believe the "u" might have been an "n", but not having seen the actual document, I don't know for sure. Ephraim and Susanna were married 2/9/1824 in Clark County Indiana. I have not yet gotten a copy of their license to see if their parents are listed. There are several Wayman's/Wainman's that are listed in the marriage index in and around the same time Ephraim was married and some may be siblings. Any information you have would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Melissa
