Thank you for the explanation. It is confusing since it is on the Mary and John Clearing House website and in Mary Ways book. You said there was another book on the Ways? What was the name of the other book? I am having my local library do a search for me thru the country to get a copy of Marys book, so I can read it and research it. I have had help from others Ways that are also cousins of ours like you are and she recommended to write to a person in Canada,he has a lot of information. You can email me personaly at wasco1@sbcglobal.net or any other "cousins" who have information about the Henry Way family. It would be very interesting to have a giant Way reunion of all of us cousins, and see if there is any family resemblnce!
Thanks again Virgil, I appreciate your help.

I also have information that one the the sons of Henry Way was a pirate in the slave trade and was a no good plunderer all his life, and that some of the other Way desedents were burned at the stake in the Salem Witchcraft trails, that is doucumented also and the rest of that clan moved out or were kicked out of Salem MA and went down south to live, I forget where South or North Carolina. I have heard many things from different Way cousins writing me. Have you ever heard of this before?
