I have several Sarah WAX and Samuel WAX names that are open. These are mainly mid 1800's and from PA. I find a number of WAX names in NE US, but have not tied any to WAX families of PA. Most WAX families I know about moved west; PA> OH> IL> IA> NE> KS> MT> OK> CA. Send email to donwax@aol.com to explore further, thanks.
