That is the problem...which John Watts.Your dates do fit what could be my Mary as the daughter, but I have NO knowledge of her parentage.I am looking at John Watts because I found him on a census with Van Swearingen and traced them both back to that area of Virginia where my Mary is...that is why I thought there might be some connection that John (which one???) is her father.My Mary Watts got married in 1800 and first child born in 1801.If Mary Watts the daughter of your John Watts is my ancestors, Mary would have been 16 or 17 when she married.That is what they did a lot in those times.What are your thoughts?
