Does anyone know where the marriage between Agnes Rayburn and Henry Watterson took place? From what I have found, I believe I descend from Henry and Agnes through their son William. After Henry's death, William lived with his sister Nancy, who married James Rayburn. He assumed the Rayburn name but is almost always listed in records as William W. Rayburn. I'm sure the W stands for Watterson and not Wallace as many have erroneously "guessed". To further complicate matters, he married Rebecca Rayburn. I descend from their daughter so my name is not Rayburn, however, the name has been passed down many times through the generations. In fact, there are members of my family who are living today with the middle name Rayburn or Reyburn.
If anyone knows anything that could prove my theory wrong, I would welcome it.
