I am looking for any information on A.P.Watters or Walters. His WWI draft record lists him as Albert Palmers Watters born June 18,1889 born in San Fransico Ca, his WWII draft record lists him as Alfred Palmer Walters born June 18,1889 in Jamestown Tn. He married Susan Maude Brooks, she was from Wise County,Va. She was married before to Samual Cleve Day. They had a child Lester Baron Day.I found A.P. and Maude listed in the 1920 US census living in Bramwell-Mercer,WV under the name Welters. Listed were A.P. Welters Born 1889,Died 1944 in Newport News,Va Maude Welters born 1892 died 1958 in Springfield Mass. She was living with her daughter at that time, Lester Welters born 1915, and Murray Welters born 1919.They had two more children after that Roxie Lea Walters and William Arnold Walters, born 1922 in WV, died in 1988 in Newport News,Va. William was my father. He went to Alvin C York High school in Fentress,Tn probably in the 30's. He joined the military in 1940 as did Murray and Lester. At one point I know they lived in Wise County,Va I am not sure about the dates.
