Hello, I am Marge 'Wood' Israel. I am a great-great-great-niece of Malachi and Alma Zona 'Houston' Watters. Alma Zona was a daughter of Col. Almanzon Houston. Almanzon was my great-great-great-grandfather. He was born in New York State in 1799 and married Elizabeth Newton. I am doing research on the families of Malachi and Alma Zona, and the Watters and Houston families in general. Alma Zona was born in Texas. She and Malachi were married in 1866.
