Am researching Watt agricultural families of Athelstaneford Prestonkirk & Haddington Parishes late 1700's to early 1800's. There may also be connections with Watts in other ELN Parishes. Trying to find ancestors to the Richard Watt & Margaret Watt (likely cousins) who married about 1781, presumably in Athelstaneford. No marriage record located.
Their Watt children were:
1) Marrion b. Athelstaneford Jun 22, 1782. d. single 1858
2) Christian b.Athelstaneford Nov 29, 1783. m. George Whitson before 1811.
3) Margaret b. Prestonkirk Oct 24, 1789
4) Robert b. Prestonkirk Feb 6, 1793. m. Marion Arthur of Whittinghame Sep 26, 1818
5) Richard b.Prestonkirk Feb 11, 1799. m Elizabeth McKenzie of Prestonkirk Apr 6, 1818
