My grandmothers maiden name was Ellen Pringle Watt. Born and died in Manitoba , Canada, She was the daughter of George Alexander Watt and Elizabeth Ann Plenderleith.Possibly the granddaughter of Thomas Plenderleith and Jane Pringle ( not confirmed ). George and Elizabeth came to Canada from Scotland. My grandmother always said she was decendent from Sir James Watt. I have so far been unable to trace the link. Anyone with info please help.
